Our Story
Connect began with a problem and a belief that things could be better.
Our founder, Shaun Weeks, saw firsthand how subcontractor-led businesses were being underserved. Compliance was clunky and narrative driven. Payments lacked transparency. And too many relationships felt purely transactional. So in February 2024, with the support of Generate - one of the UK's leading employment solution specialists - he set out to build something better.
We started with just one employee and a clear vision: to build an ecosystem rooted trust, clarity, and care. What began as a spin-out under the Generate brand quickly gained momentum. By February 2025, we opened our own London offices and launched Connect as a standalone business.
Since then, we've grown fast - not through hype, but through trusting relationships. Our clients shared their experience and brought others with them. Today we're a growing team, proud to support businesses across the gig economy.
